TELL BIDEN: REJECT CP2

Right now, the gas industry is trying to get President Biden’s approval on Calcasieu Pass 2 (CP2). It’s a massive project with huge consequences if it gets approved. It would cause as much climate change-causing carbon emissions as 52 coal-fired power plants. It’s 20 times worse for the climate than the controversial Willow Project Biden recently approved.

Biden and the Energy Secretary Granholm have the power to stop this project when it gets sent to their desk — likely in the next month.

We’re telling them loud and clear: young people demand they reject CP2 and declare a climate emergency that bans all fossil fuel export projects.
